ISLAMABAD: At least one civilian and four suspected militants were killed in what could be a terror attack in a Christian neighbourhood in Pakistan’s Peshawar on Friday morning, television channels supported.
The exchange of fire between an unknown number of suspected terrorists and law enforcement personnel reportedly began around 6am near a neighbourhood called Christian Colony, which is close to the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, Dawn online reported.
The gunmen are reportedly wearing suicide jackets, Dawn added.
