MUMBAI: Heavy rain showers were witnessed in Mumbai over the last 24 hours. The India Meteorological Department in Mumbai has forecast intermittent rain or showers for the city for the next 24 hours with heavy rain likely to occur at one or two places.
The rainfall recorded in the 24 hours of September 21-22 (8.30am-8.30am) by IMD Colaba was 145.8mm and Santacruz was 104.1mm. The heavy rains brought down minimum temperatures to being below normal. The minimum temperatures recorded by IMD Colaba was 24 degree Celsius which was 5.1 degree Celsius below normal and IMD Santacruz was 22.8 degree Celsius which was 4.7 degree Celsius below normal.
