Uri attack: Jaish-e-Muhammad suspects in hand, evidence shown to envoy

India’s endeavors to consider Pakistan responsible for the assault on a camp close to the 12 Infantry Brigade central station in Uri heightened on Tuesday with Islamabad’s emissary to New Delhi, Abdul Basit, being summoned to the Ministry of External Affairs to be given proof that the assault started from domain under Pakistan’s control.

The National Investigation Agency prior reported the capture of two men it says “encouraged” a week ago’s strike which killed 18 troopers.

Yasin Khursheed, said to be an inhabitant of Khiliana Kalan in Pakistan-involved Kashmir’s Muzaffarabad, and Faisal Hussain Awan, an occupant of Potha Jahangir, uncovered amid cross examination that they were requested to “encourage penetration of a gathering of four Jaish-e-Muhammad framework who did the Uri armed force camp assault”, the Ministry of External Affairs said.
