WASHINGTON: The United States has asked India and Pakistan to determine their disparities through strategy.
“We have kept on urging India and Pakistan to discover approaches to determine their disparities, not through viciousness, but rather through discretion,” White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest told journalists at his day by day news meeting.
Talking about Pakistan, Mr Earnest said, “We have denounced viciousness, especially fear based oppressor assaults.”
He was reacting to an inquiry on India’s choice not to go to the SAARC Summit in Islamabad in November refering to persistent cross fringe fear mongering by Pakistan against India.
The State Department too held back to settle on any remark on India’s choice in such manner and said it is for New Delhi to choose.
“I would allude you to the Government of India to remark on their choice not to go to this meeting,” State Department Deputy Spokesperson Mark Toner said.
